For about the first eight months, I spent every day touching on English and searching for a learning method that suited me. 👀

Touching English in areas I like and understand makes it so much fun 😊
I tried various methods like pronunciation practice, extensive reading, and watching foreign dramas.
Japanese and English have different vocalization methods. As long as I think in ‘Katakana English’ in my head, I can’t get closer to the way I want to be. 💭
Even when I thought of watching foreign dramas, they were too fast for me to understand. 🥂

Basic Features of LingQ
LingQ is an app that lets you learn words from the texts and audios you want to read and listen to. 📖
If you encounter an unknown word, you can look up its meaning with just a tap and add it to your learning list 👆. You can visually track your progress with color markings according to your knowledge level of the words. 🎨

LingQ’s Import Feature
The biggest charm of LingQ is its import feature.
You can import your favorite YouTube videos and articles from websites into LingQ.
Here, I share the steps for importing using the iOS app.

Tap the + button at the bottom right of the screen

Change Source to URL, paste the URL, then tap Save
